Hunting for "a decent cafe" between sightseeing stops was surprisingly tedious, so I made a map of nothing but cafes. From local hideaways that feel like record shops, to chains like Starbucks and Highlands, beachfront spots, rooftops, scenic cafes on the Son Tra Peninsula, and dessert specialists - 96 in total. About this map: Local specialty spots are mostly rated 4.6 or higher; chains are included for comparison even with slightly lower ratings. Ratings and review counts reflect the time of writing. Jam Space Café is the only one I've personally visited - the rest are introduced based on public Google Maps data. See the food article JA for more detailed reviews.
A note on street-side local cafes: not shown on this map, but Da Nang has plenty of nameless street cafes with nothing but plastic stools (called "cà phê vỉa hè" in Vietnamese). A cup runs about 15,000-20,000 VND (roughly $0.60-0.80), the style closest to everyday local life. However, Google Maps doesn't have accurate location data for these, so I couldn't pin them precisely and deliberately left them off this map. Stumbling into one is a very Da Nang experience in itself.
